August Wedding

I have been in the industry for a long time, and people always ask me questions about weddings or events that I have done in the past.

So I hope this blog helps those that are a little overwhelmed in the planning – or just curious

Occasionally you get a bride that gets it. It sometimes not all about you. It is about your guests and family, and this has been the trend for the past 8 years.

Right from the start, guest were greeted by a handcrafted pottery vase by the groom with curly willow branches. Hanging from the branches were pictures of the grooms and brides grandparents and parents wedding day photos.

Simple – but what a statement it makes. This wedding spans generations.

Each Guest was given a handcrafted pottery vase created by the groom as a custom favor. This  is a great way to show your guests something that is important to you and really personalize your event.

It is not about the show... but personalizing your event to stand out.

Three Square Vases with Gerber daisies, decorated some of the tables while others were decorated with three square vases of White stargazer lilies and others had towering red glads with curly willow. Simple but elegant.

I haven’t done a long table for many years. You never get to talk to your bridal party. I advised this bride to do a Hollow Round to accommodate her bridal party of 19.  The only thing about a Hollow Round table is the center – it is hollow.  I have put trees in it adored with crystals, fountains and this time I put the cake. The cake was clearly a perfect choice.

Hope that it has inspired and made you think about your upcoming event.Till next post, have a good party.

Thanks for visting
Patrick

  1. Good one! Even we all are busy arranging things for my sister’s wedding. I picked up one of her favorite NYC venues for her bridal shower and I am going to take ideas from here for decorating the place. She love flowers and that’s what I am going to use for decoration on her bridal shower.
